This leather donkey mask was created for Bottom’s transformation in the RWCMD production of ‘Dream’, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

This involved various processes including sculpting a maquette, pattern cutting, hand dyeing and teaching myself basic leatherworking skills such as saddle and baseball stitching.
